ESL Teaching Certificate Sample

Live Classes will be held two times a week.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DETAILS

1. Is there anything I need to do before orientation?

No. There is nothing you need to do before orientation. Just register for the course.

2. How much does this cost?

FREE! The training is offered free by Hope City College (A 501(c)3 nonprofit registered in USA)

3. Where is the Zoom Link?

We will provide the Zoom link once you join the WhatsApp group.

4. Can I invite a friend?

Yes! You can send them the WhatsApp group link. Just send them this message so they can pick a Group.

6. Do I need to attend all 2 years?

No, you do not need to attend all two years. You can stop at any time. However, if you stop before finishing year 1, you will not receive year 1 ESL units. If you stop before successfully completing year 2, you will NOT earn year 2 ESL units and teaching certificate.

7. Graduation and earning the ESL TEACHING Certificate

After completing all 2 years with a GPA of 2.0 or higher, you will earn our Hope City ESL English Teaching Certificate.

8. Do I need to maintain a GPA to stay enrolled?

Yes, you will need to maintain a 2.0 GPA in our school to stay enrolled. We are looking for students that are willing to commit to the program.

9. What if I lose internet connection?

If you lose internet connection during the live training class, we will be posting the homework details after class.

10. For Muslim, Hindu, and other Religions

We are a Christian School based in USA and welcome people to join our course that are Christian and not Christian. Our program includes training in ESL skills, trauma and orphan care, Bible training, and other topics. If you are new to the Bible, it’s ok if you don’t know the answer to a question. We just ask that you try and show effort.

11. Do I need any other materials?

You will need a notebook and items for making your virtual classroom. All items can be common things you already own.

Our live classes on Zoom require students to be fluent and conversational in English.

17. Is this ESL certificate accredited?

Our free ESL certificate program is not accredited. If you would like to enroll in our accredited teacher certificate program, please ask the teacher during the live Zoom class to get more details.
