Hope City Safety Policy
We are committed to the safety and protection of our students.

1. Students must have adult supervision during live classes and WhatsApp group participation.
2. When students join a live class, an adult must present themselves and check the student in.
3. A student must use an adult’s Zoom, WhatsApp number, and device for classes and group participation.
4. Communication Rules for Teachers:
– Not allowed to give your address, last name, or personal information to students.
– Not allowed to privately message students.
– Not allowed to develop friendships with other students through social media.
5. Dress Code: Students must be fully clothed and not reveal undergarments.

Three steps to protect children on the internet:
1. SUPERVISE: Don’t leave your child alone!
2. PARENTAL CONTROLS: Make sure all your devices are supervised by parents and have parental control applications installed.
3. CONVERSATION: Talk to your children about privacy and safety. Have an open and ongoing conversation with your child.
Holidays, Cancellations and Important Details
Holidays: we have no class during the following dates:
– January 1st. and January 2nd
– February 14 (Valentine’s Day).
– Easter (all week).
– June 28 – July 2 (Summer Break)
– September 27 – October 1 (Fall Break)
– November: (last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the month due to Thanksgiving).
– December 24 – January 1st (Christmas Break)
Consequences:
If any of our safety rules are not followed, the Hope City teacher will give the appropriate consequence according to the following:
1-FIRST WARNING
A verbal wake-up call and a written message to parents / guardians.
2-SECOND WARNING
The student will miss class that day and a written message will be sent to the parent / guardian. In addition, the case will be reported to the Hope City principal.
3-THIRD WARNING
Depending on the severity, the student will have time out of class for a week or a month and the teacher will call the parents / guardians. In addition, the case will be reported to the Hope City principal.
If the situation is very serious, the student will be expelled from Hope City School
Terms and Conditions
For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and accepted, the student enters into this release benefitting Hope City or Bring Me Hope Foundation or its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, and the officers and employees thereof (Company) to induce Company to accept Student at Company’s school. I understand that by participating and being involved in the school and program that I agree to the terms and conditions set forth by the Company. I agree that Company may record and photograph student, family members, or anyone involved in activities or time in the school for use in any promotional or marketing activities relating to the school and/or the Company.
As an essential condition of Student being accepted, I agree to comply with all the rules regarding student’s and any instructions regarding safety. I will not photograph or record other persons at the school without the Company’s express written permission. I represent and warrant that all information I am providing to Company on this release is valid, true and accurate.
I acknowledge, accept, and assume the risks, hazards and dangers that may arise from participating in the school, including, but not limited to the following: injury as a result of school activities, physical injury up to and including death; the acts or negligence of others (including Company); spectator injury; harm from others or school staff; aggravation or re-injury of preexisting medical conditions; location-specific injury; injury resulting from third world conditions or insufficient medical care; etc. I also acknowledge that there are numerous unknown risks, hazards, and dangers that I may be exposed to and encounter in connection with the school.
Accordingly, I assume full and complete responsibility and liability for any and all risks, hazards, and dangers (known and unknown) arising in connection with Company’s school that might come to me, family members, or anyone involved in the Company’s school. Additionally, I hereby agree not to sue and irrevocably and unconditionally release, waive and forever discharge Company, its past, present and future parents, subsidiaries (whether or not wholly-owned), affiliates, divisions, agents, owners, members, officers, representatives, employees, jointly and individually (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Releasees”), of and from any and all actions, causes of action, claims, accidents, demands, damages, costs, losses, liabilities, expenses, compensations, third party actions, suits in law or in equity, including claims or suits for contributions and/or indemnity, including suits or other actions brought in a foreign jurisdiction, of whatever nature, and all special, indirect, consequential, incidental, or exemplary damages on account of, or in any way arising from or relating to the Company’s school. It is my intention that this be a complete and total release of the Releasees, made without reservation, and perpetually binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, guardians, conservators, and the like.
I represent and warrant that I have carefully read this release form, that I have reviewed it, that I understand its contents, and that I have not relied on any non-included statement or representation made by any person or entity including, without limitation, Company, its owners or any of its respective agents with respect to my signing this release.
I further agree that I shall be liable for any attorneys’ fees and costs incurred by Company in connection with any claim or lawsuit brought in violation of this release. This release shall be binding on all of my successors-in- interest and heirs. This release sets forth the entire agreement between us with respect to the subject matter hereof and may not be altered or amended except in writing signed by both parties. This release shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and the parties agree that exclusive jurisdiction will lie in the state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
I represent that I agree that the grant and release contained therein binds me to all of the terms thereof.
Política de seguridad de Hope City
Estamos comprometidos con la seguridad y protección de nuestros estudiantes.

Tres pasos como proteger a sus niños en internet:

Cancelación y detalles importantes
– Las clases podrán ser canceladas, iniciar tarde o finalizar antes sin necesidad de ser reembolsados.
– Si decide cancelar la subscripción a mediados de mes, no se realizará ningún reembolso por los días restantes.
– Usted es responsable de cumplir con las reglas, regulaciones e impuestos en su país que rigen las clases en línea de Hope City
– Detalles sujetos a cambios
Consecuencias:
Si no se sigue alguna de estas reglas de seguridad, el profesor/a de Hope City dará la consecuencia adecuada de acuerdo a lo siguiente:
1-PRIMERA ADVERTENCIA
Una llamada de atención verbal y un mensaje escrito a los padres / tutores.
2-SEGUNDA ADVERTENCIA
El estudiante perderá la clase de ese día y se enviará un mensaje escrito a los padres / tutores. Además, el caso será informado al director de Hope City.
3-TERCERA ADVERTENCIA
Dependiendo de la gravedad, el estudiante tendrá un tiempo fuera de las clases durante una semana o un mes y el maestro llamará a los padres / tutores. Además, el caso será informado al director de Hope City.
Si la situación es muy grave, el estudiante será expulsado de la escuela Hope City
* Nota: Hope City no hará un reembolso del dinero, en caso de que se den algunas de estas consecuencias.
Liberación de Responsabilidad de Hope City
Por medio de la presente, yo (el “Representante del Estudiante” o “Yo”) reconozco y acepto, en mi nombre y en nombre de mi representado entrar en esta liberación de responsabilidad de Hope City, Lightify LLC, Bring Me Hope Foundation, así como sus fundadores, afiliados, subsidiarios, oficiales y trabajadores ( en adelante, la “Compañía”). Doy esta liberación en vista de que la misma es un requisito fundamental para que mi representado sea admitido por la Compañía en la escuela de inglés (la “Escuela”). Asimismo, por medio de la presente acepto que la Compañía grabe y tome fotos a mi representado y/o a mi durante las actividades escolares dirigidas por la Escuela de forma virtual, para uso promocional o actividades de mercadeo relacionadas a la Escuela o la Compañía.
Como condición esencial para que mi representado sea aceptado como estudiante en la Escuela, Yo acepto que cumpliremos con todas las reglas para los estudiantes y cualquier reglamento de seguridad dictado por la Escuela o la Compañía. Ni Yo ni mi representado tomaremos ningún tipo de fotografía ni grabación a ninguna persona que participe en las actividades de la Escuela sin el permiso adecuado por escrito de la Compañía. Yo garantizo que toda la información que estoy proporcionando a la Compañía y a la Escuela es válida y verídica.
Reconozco, acepto y asumo los riesgos, peligros y daños que puedan surgir de la participación mía y de mi representado en las actividades de la Escuela, incluyendo, pero sin estar limitadas a, las siguientes situaciones: lesión como resultado de actividades de la Escuela, cualquier lesión física (incluyendo la muerte); actos o negligencias de terceros (incluyendo la Compañía); daños causados por terceros o por el personal de la Escuela; agravaciones de lesiones médicas previas; lesiones como resultado de condiciones del país en el que residimos mi representado y Yo o falta de asistencia médica; entre otros. Asimismo, reconozco que existen numerosos riesgos desconocidos, lesiones y peligros relacionados o no con la Escuela o la Compañía a los que mi representado y Yo podríamos estar expuestos.
Por lo tanto, asumo completa responsabilidad y obligación por cualquier riesgo, daño o peligro (conocidos y desconocidos) que puedan surgir durante y como resultado de mi relación y la de mi representado con la Escuela y la Compañía. Adicionalmente, acepto por medio de la presente liberar irrevocablemente y no demandar a la Compañía y la Escuela, sus pasados, presentes y futuros padres, subsidiarios (ya sea de propiedad total o no), afiliados, divisiones, agentes, dueños, miembros, oficiales, representantes, empleados, en conjunto e individualmente de cualesquiera acciones, causas de acciones, reclamos, accidentes, demandas, daños, costos, pérdidas, responsabilidades, gastos, compensaciones, actos de terceros, demandas en derecho o equidad, incluyendo, pero sin estar limitado a, reclamos y demandas por contribución y/o indemnidad, demandas u otras acciones presentadas en una jurisdicción extranjera, de cualquier naturaleza, así como todas las especiales, indirectas, consecuenciales, incidentales, o daños ejemplares a causa de, o que de cualquier manera surjan de o se relacionen con, mi relación o la de mi representado con la Escuela y la Compañía. La presente liberación de responsabilidad es completa y total, hecha sin reservas, y perpetuamente vinculante para mi, mi representado, mis sucesores (en interés y herederos), ejecutores, administradores, guardianes, conservadores, y similares.
Asevero y garantizo que he leído detenida y cuidadosamente esta liberación, que la he revisado, que entiendo su contenido y que no he confiado en cualquier declaración o representación no incluida en la presente, hecha por cualquier otra persona o entidad, incluyendo, sin limitación, a la Escuela, la Compañía, sus dueños o cualquiera de sus respectivos agentes con respecto a esta liberación.
Asimismo, acepto que seré responsable por los honorarios de abogados y costos incurridos por la Compañía en relación con cualquier reclamo o demanda hecho en violación de esta liberación. Esta liberación de responsabilidad establece el acuerdo completo entre la Compañía, la Escuela y mi persona, incluyendo a mi representado, con respecto a esta materia y no puede ser alterado o enmendado excepto por escrito firmado por las partes. Esta liberación se regirá por las leyes del Estado de California, Estados Unidos de América, y las partes acuerdan que la jurisdicción exclusiva será en los tribunales estatales y federales localizados en el condado de San Diego, California, Estados Unidos de América.
Declaro que soy padre/tutor de mi representado y acepto que la beca y el texto contenido en la misma, nos une a mi y a mi representado a todos los términos allí contenidos.

– Листопад: останні ср – чт – пт місяця (Thanksgiving – День подяки в США).

Зауваження:
Якщо будь-яке з правил безпеки не виконується, вчитель Hope City зробить відповідне зауваження стосовно наступного:
1 – Перше зауваження
Дзвінок та письмове повідомлення батькам \ опікунам.
2 – Друге попередження
Студент не зможе відвідати заняття в цей день, повідомлення буде відправлено батькам \ опікунам. Інформація буде надіслана директору Hope City.
3 – Третє попередження
В залежності від ступеню серйозності, студент не зможе відвідувати заняття протягом 1 тижня чи місяця, вчитель повідомить батьків \ опікунів. Інформація буде надіслана директору Hope City.
Якщо ситуація дуже серйозна, студента буде відчислено з Hope City School.
